Imagine One Technology & Management is currently seeking a Systems Architect “contingent” on award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team. This position supports the U.S. Navy in Norfolk, Virginia.

The Systems Architect will provide system information requirements in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems support. Design architecture includes software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Architect.

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in work involving U.S. Navy Business Systems.

• Experience in Business Process Re-engineering.

• Experience in software and information engineering.

• Determining and identifying high level functional and technical requirements based on interactions.

• Identifying, assessing, and presenting options for meeting the functional and technical requirements including hardware and software updates or upgrades.

• Responsibility for developing high level system design diagrams.

• Ensuring systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures.

• Ensuring that the common operating environment is compliant. Analytically and systematically evaluating problems of workflows, organization, and planning and developing appropriate corrective action.

• Providing daily supervision and direction to staff.

• Experience with model-based systems engineering.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree.

Security Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship required.

• Candidate must have an ACTIVE SECRET DoD security clearance.

Additional Requirements:

Please note if you have any experience with the following:

• Department of Defense Enterprise Architecture Framework (DODAF).

• Software/Systems Engineering using Agile methodologies, with the ability to tailor to a specific systems engineering process and software development tools

• Use of SDLC tools

• Database Programming – schema design, architecture, performance tuning, SQL scripting, database consolidation, database migration, system backups and database admin.

• Modification/maintenance/installation/integration of an interfaced enterprise solution of GOTS software products

• Imagine One “Contingent” offers for employment may stipulate that one or more requirements be satisfied before final commitment between candidate and Imagine One is established; namely, award of contract to the Imagine One Team. Contingent requirements vary and may also include, but not be limited to additional factors (i.e., the position still being available after negotiations with the Government; final approval of your qualifications by the Government; or ability to successfully acquire and/or transfer a DoD security clearance).
