Candidates will be responsible for the development, test, and verification of requirements for mission planning, ground security, and control system software for one of the many exciting Aeronautics programs at Lockheed Martin. The successful candidate should have knowledge of Agile Software Development, writing requirements, and an understanding of Module Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site team and must be self-motivated with a excellent work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective communication skills as the position will require frequent inter-organizational and outside customer interactions, including executive level communications and presentations.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university in systems engineering, aeronautical engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science
- Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
- Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements
- Experience performing systems engineering activities and processes
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
- Experience with the CAMEO/MagicDraw or similar modeling tools
- Experience executing in a digital engineering environment (i.e., MBSE and digital twin)
