Lockheed Martin Aeronautics at Edwards AFB, CA is seeking a full-time Weapons Integration discipline engineer to support flight test planning and execution. This position will be part of an Integrated Test Force (ITF) which includes Contractor Test, Developmental Test, and Operational Test. In this role, you will participate in real time control room activities during flight execution, monitoring real time telemetry data during flight. Support technical planning and integration of test requirements into test plans and execute flight test from a mission control room using telemetered data.
You will interface with AFFTC and NAWCAD engineers in writing test plans, flight cards, conducting briefs/debriefs, problem reporting, and provide flight test data to verification engineers.
You will have direct interaction with the various weapon suppliers and Discipline Integrated Product Teams at Fort Worth, TX. You will participate in problem identification, analysis, and resolution; assist with collection, distribution and analysis of data acquired during flight test missions.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of writing, mathematical, and computer skills.
A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Aeronautical, Systems, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering or related technical degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience/combined education
Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience with F-35 Flight Test
Experience with Weapons Integration and test of F-35 Weapons related systems.
Experience with Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) test procedures
Experience filling discipline engineer roll in Mission control room environment
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $94,500 - $178,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
