System Support Analyst I: $49,200 - $61,500
System Support Analyst II: $60,200 - $75,300
Sr System Support Analyst: $76,400 - $101,800
Lead System Support Analyst: $89,900 - $119,900
Scheduled Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Additional hours as required.
- Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under supervision, perform all aspects of delivering effective training, change management, and support for Evergy’s core applications including Enterprise Asset Management system (EAM), Geographic Information System (GIS), Graphic Work Design, Mobile Workforce
- Management and related applications across Evergy’s Transmission, Substation and Distribution departments. This includes:
- Participating as a subject matter expert or leading special projects related to T&D core applications.
- Collaborating and travelling with other teams to align common spatial, mobile, and design components.
- Change Management and Training function to deliver consistent documentation and support to the user community.
- Creation of new training materials or editing existing materials based on end user needs and/or enhancements/process changes.
- Responding to and assisting end users who reach out via phone calls, Teams chats, and/or emails throughout the day.
- Schedule and deliver training for core systems, such as EAM Work Order, Services, and Emergent Work training classes.
- Manage user access to the EAM system.
- Reporting and analysis of support requests to determine cause and resolution
The Systems Support Analyst would be the primary support for design technicians and field personnel to resolve issues (including, but not limited to, Maximo, Maximo Spatial, Graphic Work Design, and OMS Mobile) in addition to assisting others within the Support Services department with issue resolution and understanding of the system. This will require being present with users in various locations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate users about the Company's core applications and processes. They should be able to influence users and facilitate change management efforts.
Education and Experience Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Technology, Geography, or Engineering is preferred. Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in electric utility knowledge, or technical services. Knowledge and experience with, Maximo, AUD, AutoCAD, ESRI mapping software applications preferred.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:
Position requires excellent knowledge of computer applications and related skills working with unrelated computer processes and methods. Requires constructive thinking to analyze, interpret or evaluate data or issues and process them in an accurate and high-quality manner.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to present information to other work groups in a concise manner. Prefer knowledge of the Company’s GIS, CSS, Work Management, Outlook, and Office365 applications along with basics in word processing and spreadsheets. Must be able to work and resolve work process issues utilizing analytical thinking, creative problem solving and sound reasoning. Good administrative and technical abilities to deal with large volumes of data and deal with multiple priorities and projects. Must be able to process information in an orderly and timely manner, apply tact, diplomacy, reason, and logic and recognize consequences or erroneous actions, concentrate on specific tasks and other required functions.
An excellent work performance record is required, including good attendance. Must demonstrate outstanding skills in interpersonal relations, self-motivation, organization, and work effectively with others in a team environment and build relationships with all customers and work groups.
Licenses, Certificates, Bonding and/or Testing Required:
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Work Conditions:
Office conditions with continual visual attention to performing work with a high degree of completeness, accuracy and quality. Occasional travel is required.
