Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for Muse Paintbar.

*Please note: While this position is remote, only candidates that permanently reside in New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, or Washington DC can be considered.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and implements effective and efficient recruiting methods and strategies based on the particular role and the unique needs of the company
• Organizes, attends and participates in local and virtual job fairs, art shows, and market centers to network and source talent
• Utilizes social media platforms to source local talent and discuss career opportunities
• Schedules interviews and supports the development of hiring materials, including preparation of interview questions
• Conducts initial interviews for entry-level and mid-level positions taking detailed notes and documenting the process
• Utilizes interview tracking system to organize bench candidates and proactively contacts candidates upon new openings
• Collaborates with Store Managers and Regional Managers to set up second interviews in store
• Initiates the offer process in partnership with Regional Managers and Store Managers
• Supports HR Manager and Corporate Leaders in the development and maintenance of accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
• Supports HR Coordinator with job postings and advertisement as needed
• Schedules 90 Day Evaluations for mid-level and high-level new hires with appropriate Corporate Leaders
• Provides check-ins with new hires after 60 days of employment and elevates any concerns or issues to the HR Manager or appropriate supervisor
• Develops long-term professional relationships and remains connected with past and current employees
• Leads exit interview process and elevates feedback to HR Manager and other appropriate Corporate Leaders
• Performs other duties as assigned by HR Manager or other appropriate Corporate Leaders

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with laws and regulations applicable to hiring
• Thorough understanding of the company's policies and job roles
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and Slack
• Must have a reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
• Ability to travel as needed, up to 25% annually
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week

Experience/Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Art, Business, Sales or related field; OR equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 2 years managing all phases of recruitment preferred
• Knowledge of arts and entertainment industry preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, bend
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Must permanently reside in New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, or Washington DC.
