Full-time position available with the Finance Department, Revenue Division located at 414 E. 12th St.
Salary Range: $22.52-$33.78/hour
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of professional auditing work involving tax returns to determine compliance with established ordinances and regulations.
- Conducts limited scope desk reviews of specific taxpayer reporting issues.
- Assists with conducting office audits of the tax returns, reports, and records of business organizations, including those of large and complex business operations, to determine accuracy of reported revenues and deductions in compliance with established ordinances and regulations.
- Responds to taxpayer inquiries and educate taxpayers on tax compliance through verbal and written communication.
Qualifications
REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor’s degree.

All positions require successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check. Non-residents, if appointed, must establish residency within the city limits of Kansas City, MO within nine months.
