Teacher, Grade 3 '23-24 Job at The Archdiocese of Baltimore
St. Stephen School located in Baltimore County, Maryland is seeking a full time grade 3 teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. This teacher has the opportunity to become part of a dynamic school community and would be responsible for instruction in all core subjects including religion in a self-contained classroom.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and document weekly lesson plans and labs consistent with curriculum guidelines
- Provide grade appropriate instructional program within the content of the Archdiocesan Curriculum in all subject areas
- Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times and for classroom management
- Integrate Chromebooks, Google Classroom and Interactive television technology effectively into a 21st Century classroom
- Must have necessary classroom management skills to supervise adolescents
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Degree in Elementary Education
- Current MSDE certification
- Experience in a Catholic School setting is preferred
- Must be comfortable with technology to include G Suite for Education (including Google Classroom), Smartboards, Chromebooks
- Must have a commitment to Catholic School education
- Must be a practicing Catholic
