Job Description:
At Regions, the Corporate Banking Group Relationship Team Administrator Support Manager role provides overarching leadership and continuity to Relationship Team Administrators (RTAs), and banking assistants, supporting both specialized and diversified industries relationship teams and clients within the Corporate Bank. The role focuses on understanding team support and customer service activities throughout the footprint, refining roles for consistency and partnering with the business unit and management to maximize contribution of the roles to the team and clients. This position will manage overarching communication and training and development for the support team function.
Primary Responsibilities
Leads and manages a team of Relationship Team Administrators and banking assistants, partnering with segment leadership
Implements consistent processes across relationship teams
Works to identify, monitor and resolve issues that impact productivity, process, or customer service best practices
Partners with segment leaders to develop efficient gearing ratios for support teams
Partners with Human Resources to develop recruiting guidelines (internal talent identification, external sourcing) and career-pathing
Serves as a central point of communication on overarching issues across teams
Partners with compliance on regulatory changes and requirements
Partners with Learning and Development and Corporate Banking resources teams to ensure the quality and impact of training and associate onboarding
Contributes to area support team meetings and training sessions
Maintains a presence in markets where specialized and diversified teams are located, to provide support and performance feedback
Performs general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staffing, performance reviews, promotions, and terminations
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
This is a single incumbent position.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
Seven (7) years of related banking experience
Knowledge of commercial and/or corporate lending policies, products, services, and systems
Skills and Competencies
Demonstrated leadership and coaching ability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Strong technical knowledge
