What you will do-
Assembles components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures Performs in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished product in accordance with quality system procedures
Maintains accurate records/documentation related to quality, work-in-progress, test results, labor (e.g., timecards)
Reports all equipment and process related problems to area supervisor including events and circumstances which could affect product quality, cost, and employee safety
Works with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggests improvements
Flexibility and willingness to work overtime as available, including but not limited to weekend work.
Works in accordance with quality system procedures
On Time SLMS completion to sustain trainings and credentials, for self and team
Analyzing, Prepping, and Repairing product
Functional knowledge of computer skills: Using an ERP system to move product systematically
Meeting daily with supervisor and prioritize daily business
Collaborating and problem solving with peers, leadership, and support staff
Adhere to FDA and OSHA regulations
Adhere to quality procedures and policies
Incorporate and coach lean 6 principles in team's daily work
Updates databases and shared spreadsheets with product locations and material transactions
Leads all functions of repair line
Lead daily Tier 1 huddle
Inventory management for equipment, components, and materials across the line
Manage team performance and engagement through coaching and feedback
Oversee new hire training
Exceptional analytical/critical thinking capabilities
Serves as a resource for team and drives day to day output
What you need-
High school diploma/GRE required
5+ years of relevant or professional experience required
Manufacturing experience preferred
Excel experience preferred
May involve prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking
Be able to bend, pick up and lift up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a minimal amount of force constantly to move objects. Be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
Requires use of safety ESD equipment in designated areas.
Closed-toe/closed-heel shoes must be worn on the production floor; safety shoes are recommended.
Coordination of eye, hand, and/or foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention ability.
Reading, writing, and communication skills are essential to success. Computer skills are required as they will operate the software Oracle and Microsoft Office software on a daily basis. Must have a great sense of attention to detail. Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
$34.48– $47.70 plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
