About the Role
As a team Lead or Supervisor at Fantasy Forest Amusement Park (located beside the Queens Zoo), you will be responsible for supporting the overall management of the site and in overseeing a team of fun, safe and enthusiastic experience makers at one of the world's most unique family attractions. The Lead/Supervisor works closely with the team in achieving the overall goal of delivering unique, memorable, and rewarding experiences to all our guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Responsible for executing the Guest experience plan and assemble and train a highly personable staff in accordance with NY Carousel Entertainment, LLC policies and New York State applicable laws.

- Responsibilities include: team-building; assigning and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems; maintaining a safe and clean environment.

- Monitors and evaluates Guest service and satisfaction in all areas.

- Implements policies and procedures as set forth by Management.

- Maintains a clean and safe environment for Guests and staff Recognize and respond effectively in emergency and non-emergency situations, document all incidents. Oversee the completion daily required company and local authority operating inspections and checklists.

- Assist in overseeing all retail and special event operations consisting of merchandise sales, birthday / private parties, etc.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 1 year supervisory experience in an attraction, tourist, hotel, recreation (preferred) leadership position
• Be available to work 5-6 days a week, with weekend and holiday availability.
• Be flexible with your work schedule and job duties
• Flexible to working in a high-volume fast-paced and low-volume slower-pace, guest-service oriented environment
• Physical Demands Include: Perform work that may involve lifting, loading and unloading guests assistance; Extended periods of standing and walking; Subject to exposure to all weather conditions; heat, cold, rain, snow, for extended periods. We are a year-round operation in a semi-enclosed operation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Queens, NY 11368: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
