Christ the King Lutheran Church (CtK) in Peachtree Corners, GA is looking to hire a part time Tech Support Coordinator to manage and maintain IT systems and platforms in use throughout the church. Proficiency with both MAC and Windows operating systems and 2+ years’ experience as a “systems administrator/coordinator” is required. Existing experience with the following IT systems at use at CtK desirable: Faith Connector, ZOOM, PCloud, ProPresenter, YouTube, and Planar.

This position is a part time positions expected to be 20+/- hours per week.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Christ the King Lutheran Church (CtK) in Peachtree Corners is seeking a part-time Tech Support Coordinator. While IT Technical coordination is the main responsibility, additional responsibilities will be included. The selected individual is expected to provide creative solutions in all technology endeavors.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acts as the primary interface with existing contracted IT support vendor (Logic Speak) as needed
• Works closely with vendor to ensure CtK needs have been communicated
• Ensure any solution provided by the vendor is appropriate
• Oversight of software, accounts, and licenses throughout the church
• Provide first line IT technical support for CtK Hardware/Software used by CtK employees and groups
• Server file oversight (including remote access applications such as PCloud)
• ProPresenter setup and maintenance
• Fixed and mobile audio/video display equipment and systems
• Troubleshooting assistance and support as needed for various technology and AV systems
• Working with Communication Director perform Website design and management
• Develop and maintain Technical Support documentation and Backup Systems and
• Document any information and processes related to the daily and periodic operation and maintenance of IT systems: hardware and software
• Help maintain usernames and passwords lists for all CtK systems in a secure location
• Develop and maintain file/folder security structure on server
• Other duties as assigned

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

• Reports to Senior Pastor
• Work closely with Communications Director, Operations Director, and other staff
• Assist staff or other committees in solutions to various technology problems or needs
• Be a positive representative of the ministry and mission of the church

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

• Proficient with both Windows and MAC operating systems
• Experience working with IT and AV in a church a plus
• Familiar with social media platforms utilized at CtK: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
• Microsoft 365 Administrative duties
• YouTube or other streaming services

HOURS and COMPENSTION DETAILS

• Estimated hours per week: 20
• Additional hours as necessary based on supervisor’s approval
• Limited on-call responsibilities are included
• Hourly rate: $23.75
• No Benefits
