TechCenter Design and Drafting Lead

Remote - Full Time

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will provide support to engineering and drafting team for detailing and tolerancing.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

• Leveraging existing company experience, become local TechCenter Subject Matter Expert regarding GD&T and customer specific design and detailing standards.
• Provide quality control for CAD model and drawing output to customer
• Support TechCenter Manager in coordination of modeling and drafting activities.
• Applies existing applications to routine problems.
• Analyzes assignments and determines engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for routine problems or projects.
• Learn and apply company engineering policies and practices.
• Learn company products.
• Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
• Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in related experience.
• 2-year technical degree or BSME.
• tolerance stack-ups experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• CAD experience with
• Understanding of GD&T ASME Y14.5.
• Minimal manufacturing/engineering industry knowledge.
• Results-oriented work habits.
• Good organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and automobile.

Preferred Skills:

• Creo experience.
• PDM experience with PTC Windchill.
