The Electro-Mechanical specialist will be required to troubleshoot and repair equipment for customer-owned equipment, lease equipment, and company equipment domestically and may be required to travel internationally. The technical specialist may also be required to help with domestic and international installations, rebuilds, and repairs. This position is off-site and requires the employee to work from home and travel to the job site as required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primary responsibilities will be maintenance and repair of 4 lease units located in Shelby, Ohio and one lease unit in Alliance, Ohio.
• Requires direct communication with client.
• Interfaces and reports to Mill – NDT Systems office in Houston, Texas

Qualifications/Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in Electro-Mechanical repairs, assembly and disassembly of large equipment, alignment, hydraulics, pneumatics. Experience with NDT Electro Magnetic and Ultrasonic Pipe Inspection Systems is a plus.
• Mechanical engineering and/or technical school diploma. NDT equipment manufacture, maintenance, and repair knowledge favorable.
• Familiar with Microsoft OS applications.
• Experience with JDE ERP and Team Center a plus.
• Previous experience in steel pipe mill operations and NDT methods a plus.
• Domestic and international travel a requirement.
• Ability to travel on short notice (emergency service requirement).
