Future Infrastructure, LLC. has a Technical Trainer position open in our Training Department. This position will be located in our Balch Springs, TX office.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Facilitate New Employee Orientation training where standard policies and procedures are delivered so employee know how to safely operate on PSC Contracting Jobsites
• Train and mentor employees on PSC Contracting’s excavation best practices and safe excavation techniques
• Administer Operator Qualifications Examination on PSC Equipment assessing Operator competencies.
• Collaborate with operations leaders to ensure the appropriate training is covered for field employees.

• Records and forwards daily attendance to the records department.

• Assist with development and management of outdoor training yard which will replicate common work activities associated with installation of underground utilities
• Utilize training documents to instruct employees on the proper use of specialized equipment and specific procedures as they relate to the industry.
• Other duties and special projects, as assigned

A successful candidate with meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years Heavy Equipment Operator
• Minimum 2 years experience in a technical training role Preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in Excavator Operations
• Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory, or lead role strongly desired
• NCCER qualified Instructor Preferred
• Employees in this position will demonstrate knowledge of the OQ program.
• Must possess the required knowledge to ascertain an individual's ability to perform covered tasks and to substantiate an individual's ability to recognize and react appropriately to abnormal operating conditions that might occur while performing these activities.
• Proven communication and presentation skills, oral and written, with ability to communicate with a variety of individuals and personalities at all levels internally and outside the organization
• Ability to problem solve
• Must possess strong leadership skills
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
• Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve complex training and employee issues/problems is required
• Must have the ability to deal with frequent changes, delays and unexpected events
• Ability to organize and prioritize daily work assignments and maintain confidentiality
• Ability to direct and influence a team, and be a positive role model
• Bilingual (Spanish) desired, but not required.

Compensation: $75,000- $80,000 /annually (pay is decided based on experience)
