Technical Writer Job at CACI
CACI is seeking a Technical Writer in support of a federal government customer. The candidate will work with business analysts, project managers and developers preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documentation. You will be responsible for the updating and maintenance of technical documentation covering a wide variety of internal processes and operational activities to include work instructions, standard operating procedures, production processes, security handing procedures, end user guides and governance documents as well as quality assurance activities and training materials.
More About the Role:
The technical writer and communications specialist will work collaboratively within a small team, coordinating across multiple stakeholders for developing, refining, and supporting customer communications activities.
- Responsible for independently editing, designing, and managing the contents program and technical documentation in both Confluence, SharePoint and MS Teams
- Support in the development, editing and writing of technical, end user, and system design documentation and customer deliverables
- Participate in customer business requirements meetings, preparing agendas and meeting notes
- Review, edit and brief on changes to technical documentation and guides
- Support trainers in the review, editing and development of end user guides and training material for new O365 products and technology roll-outs
- Support user acceptance testing, validating user documentation and SOPs
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- DHS EOD Eligible (Active EOD Preferred)
- Minimum of Bachelors Degree or equivalency and 10 years of applicable experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required; Proficiency in MS Project
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
- Experience with Confluence and JIRA
- Detail oriented and analytical.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $64,600-$132,500.
