About us
City of Glen Cove SYEP has been providing work experiences teens in Glen Cove, NY since 1981. Our environment is supportive, creative and rewarding, and our goal is to provide a safe place for new teen workers to begin their work journey. We have teens, 14-15 years old, who will embark on their first work experience. Our work week is Tuesday-Friday. This is the perfect opportunity for a college student home for the summer. Programming ends by August 5th. We paint murals, help maintain trails and park areas, love Friday BBQs and are a positive face in the community.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of 5-6 teens, 14-15 years old
- Monitor team at worksites
- Assign work details and keep teens foucsed on job at hand
- Work week is Tues-Fri, 830-230/330pm from July 5-August 5
Job Type: Temporary
Schedule:
- Day shift
- No nights
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Glen Cove, NY 11542: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
