Under the direct supervision of the Morgantown Branch Office Supervisor, the incumbent will function as a professional in providing assistance to the counseling and supervisory staff of the Morgantown Branch Office. Work schedule to be determined. Duties will include but are not limited to: Assisting counselors for general and school territories through a variety of casework and direct services to clients that may involve developing new referrals, orientation of prospective clients, and conveying client’s rights and responsibilities, completing intakes, job placement assistance, determining eligibility and assist consumers in plan development, writing the plan, and getting required signatures. The individual will be responsible for conveying information regarding rehabilitation services and the process to the public and/or applicants to promote the agency. Frequent travel may be required throughout the Morgantown Office coverage area to meet with consumers and for public presentations. Computer skills are necessary for input into I-ECM to assist with documentation.
Rate of pay: $15 - $17.50 an hour
