MISSION:
The mission of the YMCA of the Foothills is to organize, develop, finance, and conduct programs for an association of persons of all ages that will, by putting Christian principles into practice, enrich the quality of their lives spiritually, mentally, physically and socially.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Building Block (TBB) Aide will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the children in TBB by enforcing policies and procedures courteously and professionally.It is essential to keep certifications current and follow emergency procedures when necessary.This position requires skill in preventing accidents and maintaining a safe environment in TBB.
HOURS/SHIFT:
Part time and including evenings and weekends
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 16 years of age or senior in high school
Experience in working with children or related area
- Ability to deal cordially with a wide variety of personalities
Ability to enforce rules for safety
Ability to be professional, alert, courteous, and diplomatic
Ability to be an example for the YMCA 4 Core Values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility
Current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications preferred or required within 90 days of hire date or position acceptance
