The TOOL ROOM ATTENDANT positionis offered with appropriate compensation and company benefits including a benefit package with health benefits, vacation time, and paid holidays along with possible advancement opportunities!

The Tool Room Attendant receives, stores, records, and issues tools and tooling holders and is responsible for maintaining records of tools, holders and equipment issued and returned manually or by using the computer. This position will also have various tasks on the production floor as needed such as delivering and collecting tools and assisting CNC operators as needed in various areas.

Essential Job Duties:

• Responsible for replenishment and maintaining of tools & holders.
• Strong knowledge of tools and tooling as it relates to CNC or manual mills, and lathe.
• Organized and detailed will be responsible for identification, presetting, and delivery of all tools for jobs prior to job start times.
• Accountable for accurately identifying, assembling, and delivery of all tools for jobs.
• Accountable for maintaining and accuracy of tool replenishment system.
• Accountable for accurate inventory & tool distribution records.
• Accountable for assisting in Shop Production as needed.
• Responsible for Requesting Stocking & Non Stocking tools to be ordered

Essential Functions:

• Checks work instruction, tooling type and size to identify tooling errors.
• Able to prioritize tooling needs for multiple jobs.
• Able to use computer and associated hardware to identify & track necessary tools and fixtures.
• Responsible for quality of work including kitting accuracy (tool, collet and holder combination) of stick out length and delivery to correct machine.
• Returns all tools to proper locations.
• Keeps tool crib neat and orderly.
• Responsible for accurate inventory of tools in a secure access tool crib room.
• Assists on obtaining prices and re-ordering for Tooling.
• Working Knowledge of Inventory Management
• Complies with appropriate company and machine safety policies & procedures.
• Has good communication skills and is able to handle multiple interruptions.
• Participates in activities to increase personal skill level, overall departmental processes and product quality.
• Receives, understands and follows all written and oral instruction.
• Resolves day-to-day issues by working effectively with others.
• Completes other duties required to meet company needs as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

• Coral Springs, FL 33065: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Inventory control: 1 year (Preferred)
• CNC machine tooling: 1 year (Preferred)
