Summary:
In this role the individual will be part of a small team which performs unique tasks such as fabrication, implementation, and maintenance of aircraft tooling, fixtures, and shop aids. This individual should understand steel, aluminum, welding, and mechanical design. In addition to design, they will be expected to support tool-setting and calibrations on new and existing aircraft production systems. They will review and evaluate new fixture designs and will directly represent the engineering department to the aircraft production floor, machine shop, and Quality departments. Individual must be self-motivated to and work well alone or in small groups. Individual must be flexible to switch between various tasks throughout the day to meet the fast-paced production requirements.
Wages dependent on experience. Range is $24.00 - $30.00/hour.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Welding (MIG and TIG)
- Manual Machining (Lathe and Vertical Mill)
- Tool assembly, repair, and modification
- Operate precision measuring equipment, both hand and Software based
- Knowledge of Inspection methods and CMM
- Knowledge of hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of OSHA rules
- Generate Calibration Reports
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (Siemens NX desired)

Profil et autres informations du poste
Position Requirements:
A minimum three (3) years of direct, applicable experience in tooling and fixture design, calibrations, and precision measuring (aircraft related is desired)
OR
Associates degree in applicable engineering discipline from an accredited university
