Position Summary:
The primary focus of this role is to serve as a Trainer that can translate internal client learning needs and requirements into innovative and creative high-level learning solution designs and applying learning methods, modalities, audiences, and content that support the client's business strategy. The Trainer is responsible for imparting knowledge on policies and procedures and ensuring a consistent and impactful training experience for each new team member that joins SWACU.
More specifically you will:
Conduct new hire training, department specific training, program revision and remedial training following instructional guides.
Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate training and related materials, quick-references, assessments, job aids, computer-based courses, or other resource materials needed to support staff performance.
Assist in coordinating, scheduling, and directing training activities.
Ensure all training materials are updated with regulatory, procedural or policy changes.
Identify, read and gain a solid knowledge of relevant learning content and present this back to the learners in a way that is easy to understand and to navigate.
Focus on the learner experience and durability of the learning solution.
Provide written evaluations of employee performance, to management, as required.
Responsible for transition of trainees from training to their department/position.
Maintain positive, consistent communication with departments, management, and staff.
Work on additional departmental projects and report on progress of assigned projects to Training Director.
Assist with testing, product releases, material updates and implementations.
Work with SWACU Training Team to identify and evaluate possible learning solutions and select the most appropriate ones.
Build internal networks to access expertise and relationships with other departments or functional leaders and to leverage functional area knowledge throughout the credit union.
Be an administrator within our SharePoint by running the Training page (called CUConnect).
Be an administrator within the Learning Management System (Shared Role).
Be an administrator within our Security Awareness Platform – KnowBe4 (Shared Role).
Qualifications:
Two years’ experience in a credit union operations function or training related position
Able to lead and develop staff through structured trainings
Able to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate training and related materials
eLearning Content Development using Adobe Captivate, SnagIt, or other eLearning software is a plus but not required
Strong experience in all Microsoft office products and training technology platforms
Passion for creating high-quality facilitation and learning experiences
Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize work
Maintain responsiveness to internal customers and vendors by consistently responding to their needs and interests
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Travel will be required pending business and project needs
Symitar Episys experience is a plus but not required
Understanding of job functions and operations within a Credit Union highly preferred
All qualified candidates will need to pass a credit and background check
Pay:
$62k-$72k per year, DOE.
Schedule:
This is an in-office position, Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
