CB - Transaction Execution Management - Trade - Associate
The transaction management team is known as Credit Products Delivery team, a middle office transaction execution management partner for clients of the Global Corporate Bank , Commercial Bank and Global Trade Finance Businesses. Credit Products Delivery provides expertise in the negotiation and review of facility documentation and end-to-end transaction execution management for Traditional Trade Finance products. The Credit Products Delivery team partners closely with JPMorgan's coverage teams and legal counsel to deliver on its transaction execution management mandate.
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver best-in-class transaction execution management of credit products (trade focused) for Trade and Working Capital, Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) and Commercial Banking (CB) clients, including end-to-end management of the deal execution and maintaining oversight over the closing process.
- Review and manage the negotiation of legal documentation with a focus on trade finance facilities ranging from vanilla to complex documentation, co-ordinating internal comments and deviation approvals
- Liaising with internal/external counsel to prepare and review transactional documentation
- Draw on expertise to help suggest solutions for appropriate stakeholders (Bankers, Credit, Tax, Ops etc) as necessary, ensuring they are brought into the debate in a timely manner to reach a resolution
- Manage controls framework, reporting and escalation for transaction execution; including preparing and coordinating documentation deviations and approvals during negotiations
- Actively contribute to WLS wider projects & initiatives
Key Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of Traditional Trade products and documentation
- An understanding of credit execution, transaction management, credit products and banking processes
- Knowledge of bilateral and syndicated loan documentation will be beneficial.
- Ability to identify problems and escalate these promptly
- Documentation knowledge and interpretation of key clauses
- Legal background an advantage
- Knowledge of Loan products will be beneficial.
- Excellent coordination skills and a strong control mindset
- Good organization skills, and ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, including strong prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact professionally and confidently with the Front Office globally
- Confident, self-starter, assertive and energetic
- Set high standards of performance for self
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
