The Butler Hospital Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Clinic is looking for an individual to fill the role as an Administrative Assistant and join our exciting team.
The Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Clinic at Butler Hospital is looking for an administrative assistant to provide support and ensure efficient operations of this outpatient service. The position would entail working with the TMS staff to assist with patient scheduling and screening, communicating with insurance companies, performing insurance benefit verification, submitting/recording prior authorizations for TMS treatment, reviewing related denials, and rectifying charges. This individual will also aid in screening, processing, and registering new patients/referrals in the medical record. They will also be responsible for other administrative responsibilities essential for the Butler TMS Clinic's operations. such as fielding phone calls, retrieving messages, preparation of patient informational materials, purchasing, and ordering.
An Ideal Candidate will have:
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with persons with mental disorders
- Background working with EPIC or other electronic medical record systems, performing insurance benefit verifications, patient registration, processing and reviewing billing claims
