Job Purpose and Impact

The Transportation Accounting & Data Maintenance Senior Supervisor will lead the North America in freight payables, transportation accounting and data maintenance. In this role, you will work with various business stakeholders to ensure transportation accounting entries are accurately and timely recorded. You will serve as liaison to collaborate with various internal stakeholders across business lines to align common processes and identify opportunities for improved communication and effectiveness. Key Accountabilities

Work with a sense of urgency to track key metrics, monitor performance and recommend and implement improvements based on benchmark standards to drive continuous improvement efforts.
Lead performance across various aspects of internal and external stakeholder interactions including controls, metrics, budget, incident tracking and resolution, etc.
Serve as the transportation accounting and data maintenance expert
Collaborate with other team functions and business members to effectively manage freight accruals, freight invoice processing, transportation data maintenance and related systems issues
Establish basic accounting control procedures and be the escalation point of contact for both activities
Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience Preferred Qualifications
Advanced experience with Microsoft applications, Excel, Word, etc.
Knowledge of root cause analysis processes
Hands-on experience working in SAP and/or transportation management systems
Experience and familiarity with transportation accounting
Two years of supervisory experience Prior Beneficial Experiences
Experience and familiarity with transportation accounting
Experience supervising and leading teams
Experience working in transportation invoice processing and data maintenance Key Behaviors
