Keystone Care LLC is currently hiring a Traveling / Remote MDS Nurse in the Northeast Texas area. We are looking for someone local.

Overview:

• The MDS Travel / Remote Nurse will provide MDS support to various skilled nursing facilities located in our Northeast Texas region
• Our North Texas region includes the following cities: Mesquite, Rowlett, Terrell, Wills point, Paris, Greenville and Tyler
• Will train and develop the MDS Nurses at each facility to ensure the completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), that is, the Minimum Data Set (MDS), Care Are Assessments (CAAs) and Care Plan in accordance with State and Federal requirements.

Qualifications:

• We are looking for a person that is passionate about the RAI process and has a love to educate and share their knowledge with others and to mentor them to be successful MDS Coordinators.
• Texas RN or LVN license is required
• At least 3 years MDS experience to include OBRA and PDPM
• Able to travel where needed
• Able to be away from home if facility requires hotel lodging due to distance
• Able to step in and lead the MDS role for an open position
• Self-motivated
