Position Description:

The Truck Driver Recruiter will be a member of Whiteline Express, Ltd.’s human resources team in Plymouth, MI. This is a full-time opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated individual who has the drive to become part of a growing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop potential driver leads using cold calling, e-mail, computer databases, and Internet recruiting resources.
• Develops the “sell” process by passing on accurate and detailed information to prospective applicants.
• Understands the qualification standards of the company for company. Keep current on the qualifications as the company implements them.
• Manages the new hire process from driver lead to application to orientation to successful hire.
• Handles all phone screens and interview arrangements for all applicants that meet the company requirement
• Maintains contact with Terminal Managers during the recruiting process to validate our interest in the candidate(s).
• Confirm driver's new hire orientation date and provide travel and hotel arrangements.

Qualifications:

• Experience in recruiting OTR/Regional/Local Truck Drivers'
• Ability to multitask and be detailed-oriented
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must have the ability to effectively interact with drivers
• Must have knowledge of DOT rules and regulation
• Must have the ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Strong problem solving abilities and exceptional follow-up skills
• Computer literate - Knowledge of Microsoft Office, TMW, and Tenstreet
