After achieving enormous success in Australia under the brand name ScreenAway, an improved second generation product called UBlockout has been designed and developed for purchase in the USA and other global markets via www.ublockout.com and DIY installation. With the USA assembly supply chain for UBlockout now established and e-commerce website complete, we are seeking to recruit experienced and motivated lead team members to support the establishment of operations in the USA.

Overview

As the Assembly Production Manager, you will be responsible for allocating labor resources, tracking production schedules and cost adjustments to ensure production runs smoothly. You will make receiving raw materials or shipping final goods happen as efficiently as possible. You will estimate costs and prepare budgets to ensure workflow meets required deadlines. As a production manager, you'll make sure goods and services are produced safely, cost-effectively and on time and that they meet the required quality standards. As manager of the Assembly, you must have the ability to develop and motivate employees. You will be responsible for overseeing and building out the on-site assembly team of 16 people; you will need to have experience in hiring and managing teams. We are looking to have the team built out and ready to begin product training by January 15th, 2023. Experience working in the window blind industry or similar DIY product will be advantageous. Full product and assembly training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders are fulfilled to the highest quality in a timely manner
• Inventory and supply management: including international procurement
• Oversee team of assembly workers
• Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
• Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
• Communicating regularly with AU-based team regarding problems or issues impacting production
• Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
• Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
• Setting productivity and quality goals for each manufacturing team
• Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
• Ensuring adequate hiring and scheduling of staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related fields
• Prior experience with production as a director or manager, manufacturing experience
  
  
  

Additional Information:

• Full time, in-person located in or near Dallas, TX
• 90,000-130,000 DOE
