Job Summary and Qualifications

Ultrasound Supervisor

Your tasks and responsibilities as Ultrasound Supervisor include but are not limited to:

• Assume responsibility for patient flow and all other patient care issues while ensuring both employee and patient safety
• Establish and maintain an ethical working relationship and good rapport with physicans, hospital staff and vendors
• Responsible for scheduling technologists on monthly, holiday and call rotation schedules
• Responsible for meeting operational guidelines
• Must be able to work in a technical capacity, assuming all duties encountered by a staff technologist
• Ensure all equipment and supplies utilized during procedures are maintained and in ready condition
• Accurate and timely MEDITECH data input
• Oversees all exams are reviewed in PACS and ready for dictation by Radiologist
• Document clinical information to support the assessment, treatment, education and continuity of care
• Ability to organize exam schedule and prioritize reporting of outcomes
• Ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in field of practice
• May also bring an accredited Associate of Science background in Radiology with on-the-job training in Ultrasound
• Valid ARDMS (Abdomen and/or OB/GYN) required
• RVT preferred
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of technical experience with extensive knowledge of equipment, accessories and procedures
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
