GPS’ liquidity and investments product solutions help HSBC’s clients to gain visibility on their internal liquidity, access their funds through efficient structures and solutions, and gain control on the overall cash of the organization. The Head of Liquidity & Investment Product Management leads a regional team, as part of a global organization, that is responsible for the development and execution of the liquidity product portfolio propositions to enhance HSBC’s market share and profile as a prominent liquidity management player in the region as well as globally.
Here’s what you can expect:
As our Head of Liquidity & Investment Product Management, you will lead the team of Liquidity & Investment product managers and work closely with other team members who have product development responsibilities within the same area, to ensure consistent and comprehensive positioning of our approach in the market. In addition, this role is responsible for establishing and executing the GPS product strategy in the US as well as leading on the balance sheet related initiatives linked to GPS’ liabilities, which have a direct impact on GPS P&L and the HSBC entities.
For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $200,00 and $300,000.
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

- You’ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Strong understanding of Liquidity Management strategies, structures, products & services - specifically exposure to liquidity management and investment products across North America markets and globally
- Strong understanding of banking, investment and cash management regulation & practices - such as Basel III, foreign exchange controls, relevant taxation considerations
- Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. client facing banking functions such as corporate banking relationship management or sales, experience of working in Corporate Treasury / Finance function
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences, experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
