Utility Worker

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced motivated individual to fill a role as a Utility Worker. Candidates must have prior experience with machinery, hand tools, and an ERP system in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Provides day-to-day support to manufacturing areas.
• Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, etc.
• Work within a fast-paced, production-oriented, safe environment.
• Responsible for handoff of physical products, supplies, and scrap and distribution throughout the manufacturing floor to their proper locations.
• Responsible for prepping metal material through the use of orbital sanders and grinders.
• Responsible for returning inventory to stock through the use of an ERP system.
• Assisting in general shop cleanup.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds with the ability to ask for assistance when required.
• Respond to coworkers in a timely fashion.

Key Skill Required:

• Prior ERP system experience.
• Prior experience with machinery and hand tools is a MUST.
• Strong organization, planning, and problem-solving skills Personal drive, action-oriented, quick learner
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced team environment as well as work independently.
• Desire to go above and beyond the job description.

Education:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· 3-5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment

· Ability to communicate and interact effectively in all situations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
