Job Summary
As the Value Based Program Manager for UofL Health, you are the go-to for the Value Based Provider contract strategy, implementation, and designer of the Quality incentive programs across all lines of business. Your experience working with Value Based Models as well as managing implementation activities and performance outcomes will help support and drive our Value Based strategy.
Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with Senior Leadership, develop the overall strategy for value-based quality improvement models across UofL Health.
- Develop and deliver the education, reporting tools, and transformation related work plans designed to achieve Medicare stars, IGT, HRIP, and others.
- In collaboration with Senior Leadership, design and manage all aspects of pay-for-performance, shared savings, bundled payments, quality incentive programs, and value-based structures related to quality performance.
- Manage and coordinate strategic value-based care initiatives that will drive quality performance, clinical care gap closures, and decrease overall cost of care.
- Directs program implementation work plans and work groups across program committees, including facilitation and management of performance reporting.
- Creates best practice workflows and process mapping for optimal care delivery of care to meet measure targets, including IGT and HRIP.
- Engages in continual assessment of program effectiveness, identifying opportunities to drive improvement across UofL Health

Education:
- Master’s degree in healthcare or applicable field
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience of managed care, HEDIS quality metrics, Star Ratings and Value Based Contracting
- Knowledge of value-based program strategies, cost of care initiatives, and performance analytics
