Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute (CMHVI) seeks a Vascular Sonographer for our growing practice.

This opportunity includes working with six vascular providers in office-based and procedural settings. This CMHVI practice is dynamic and collegial, with regularly scheduled educational conference and exposure to a wide variety of arterial and venous pathology.

This is a full-time, day shift position. No nights or weekends required!

What are we looking for?:

· BLS certified and ARDMS registered

· A love of taking care of patients in the community

· Work closely with compassionate, extremely well trained, vascular surgeons

· Willing to receive hands-on training and professional growth in vascular disease.

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma

· Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree

· Certification required-RVT or RVS

· BLS Certification

· Be able to perform all vascular laboratory studies; provide concise and accurate preliminary reports to medical staff, provide information on disease processes dealt with in vascular disease to medical staff and patients. Demonstrates knowledge of computer software used for operation of ultrasound systems, data gathering, analysis and presentation.
