About the Role: We are looking for a part-time Vendor Credentialing Specialist to join our Sales Support Team who will be responsible for vendor credentialing and hospital access for our field sales and clinical Associates. This individual will understand industry credentialing standards and work with internal functions and external suppliers to provide credentialing trainings, screenings and testing to satisfy compliance of the industry and provider requirements, thereby mitigating legal, financial, and significant business risk to Gore.

This is a part time position working 20 hours per week. This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.*

Responsibilities:
  • Review and stay up to date on federal and state regulations, and hospital provider requirements that may impact the need for trainings, policy changes or implementation of new processes
  • Communicate and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders, both internal and external, such as Sales, Legal, EH&S, Occupational Health, Data Privacy, Compliance, and Security when review and guidance is required
  • Develop, communicate and support vendor credentialing team members with regards to changing regulations, provider processes and requirements, credentialing strategies, best practices and processes for compliance
  • Review, approve and manage training materials related to hospital access in order to meet industry standards, customer requirements
  • Work with third-party Vendor Credentialing Organizations, such as Intellicentrics, Vendormate, Symplr, and others

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum 3 years of relevant healthcare experience
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment and ability to work in a team environment
  • Must have proven track record in project and process management
  • Well-developed problem-solving experience to drive desired outcomes with all levels internally and externally
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability and willingness to work part-time, 20 hours per week
  • Ability and willingness to travel 5% of the time

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Healthcare Vendor Credentialing Organizations
  • Proficient in the use and interpretation of legal/medical terminology
  • Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. For fully remote roles, the following locations are not eligible for new fully remote work arrangements: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
