OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Wedding Venue General Manager with an ownership mindset to help lead our thriving team!

A General Manager is an influential leader that inspires a team of people to come together to execute flawless events. Their mission should be to consistently deliver a 5 star guest experience by providing superior customer service and meeting and exceeding performance goals. This role requires the manager to coordinate and supervise the execution of all events to ensure clients specifications are adhered to, and that the event runs smoothly and efficiently. Not only will you be responsible for leading the day-to-day culture within the venue, but you will be in charge of the look, feel and ambience of the venue as a whole. They should ensure that cleanliness and appearance standards are met, uniforms are on point, and that the guest experience is flawless throughout the event. This person is responsible for long and short-term planning and day-to-day venue operations such as managing employees, expenses and budget. This role provides a high degree of autonomy and provides you control over your schedule.

SALARY

Total compensation range is between $ 50,000 - $ 60,000 / year

REQUIREMENTS

Location: The Olana, Hickory Creek, TX

Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities

Education: College Degree or Applicable Work History

Physical: Able to lift 30 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8-12 hours

Certifications: TABC, Serve Safe

Other: Submit to a background and drug test, have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Management of Food and Beverage

Hiring and managing a banquet team

Communicating and meeting with clients as needed to gather all event details

Oversee cleanliness, landscaping, and maintenance of the venue

Cleanliness and proper appearance of the venue must present at all times for providing the ultimate client experience for events and venue tours

Budget venue should be managed

Comply with, and enforce company standards, policies and procedures
