Overview: Ansley Animal Clinic is a neighborhood vet clinic located in the Morningside/Virginia Highlands area of Midtown. We are currently looking for a full-time front desk receptionist willing to work a flexible schedule. Applicants must exhibit professionalism and have a minimum of 5-years customer service experience, with excellent communication skills and computer aptitude. Veterinary clinic experience is not required but is strongly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accurate management of veterinary medical records
- Appointment scheduling and management
- Filing and responding to e-mails
- Serving as a communication hub between clients, hospital staff, vendors, and referring hospital staff
- Management of multiple phone lines
- Accurate management of financial transactions
We are seeking a bright, energetic, detail-oriented person with strong oral and written communication skills. The charter of this role is to manage the flow of communication between clients and medical staff, to schedule appointments, maintain records and process transactions.
This is a high-volume and fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate has an exceptional ability to multi-task and has superior attention to detail. You will learn and understand veterinary medical terminology, and you must be able to maintain composure in a busy (and sometimes noisy) environment. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly, and extroverted personality to fill this role.
Hours
Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 6:30pm
Typically work week:
4 days Monday-Friday.
Compensation:
Pay is based on experience. Starting pay ranges $17+ per hour, based on experience.
Hours are 37-40+ per week. We are a multi-doctor practice located in Midtown Atlanta. Our work environment emphasizes strong communication, quality care for pets with a good environment for all staff. The entire team--from Front Desk to DVMs to Techs and Kennel Assistants-- works together to provide excellent patient care and great overall experiences for clients.
Compensation is competitive, based on experience. Signing bonus payable after 2 months of service. We are located next to Piedmont Park, a few steps from the Atlanta Beltline. MARTA access.
