JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Vibration Analyst
IDC Engineering is seeking a professional, innovative, and detail oriented individual to join our team. This full-time position gives you the opportunity to solve real-world technical problems. You will provide support to our customers in the Marine, Industrial, and Power Generation industries. We will provide the necessary training.
You will use engineering data and drawings to build theoretical models of engine or motor driven mechanical systems and use our software to analyze and identify potential vibration issues.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 1. Acknowledge customer requests for work within one business day
- 2. Communicate with customers to understand their needs and expectations
- 3. Maintain accurate records in IDC’s project database for each project so staff can clearly understand the status of each project
- 4. Deliver vibration reports to customers within IDC’s promised turnaround time
- 5. Regularly contact customers to ensure we are providing the support they need
- 6. Assist Design team with CAD work on occasion
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Detail-oriented
2. Strong Project Management skills
3. Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
4. General knowledge of Mechanical Systems
5. Ability to communicate professionally in writing and over the phone
6. Self-motivated
EDUCATION:
Associates Degree (Mechanical or Physics Preferred)

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
