Our Hospitality Consulting organization is looking for a Vice President, Consulting to lead a Consulting/Professional Services organization.
In this role the Vice President, Consulting will have P&L responsibility for the Global Hospitality Consulting organization and is responsible for leading, managing and directing the operations of the organization to execute on the corporate strategies and meet the company’s revenue, growth, and profit objectives. Responsible for ensuring that the operations have the talent/resources needed to meet stated goals and objectives.
Day in The Life Typically Includes:
Leadership
- Organizational leadership responsibilities include overseeing day- to-day execution strategy, initiatives, policies/procedures/programs, and escalation management consulting, as well as related strategic planning and budgeting.
- Proactively work with customers to understand their current business initiatives, align them to industry best practices, ensure retention, and reference ability.
- Engage and partner with C- Level executives to build relationships with existing and new customer to ensure they are getting the most value from our services.
- Partner with Sales Executives, Regional Leads, Customer Partners, Development, and other Infor leadership to manage customer relationships.
P&L Management
- Overall accountability for formulating the department’s budget within the overall framework.
- Ensure that each business unit manages, allocates, and operates human and capital resources within this budget.
- Accountability for meeting Revenue, Utilization and Margin targets.
Strategic Planning
- Within department, formalize short and long-term strategies and initiatives to support the overall strategic objectives of the division and organization.
- Ensure that revenue, margin, sales, and other stated metrics are met.
Communication
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, philosophy, policies, and culture of the organization.
- Supports, communicates, defends, and reinforces responsibility of all employees and managers for appropriate conduct, policy compliance, and performance.
- Represents the organization in key relationships, as appropriate, with customers, third party and public relations, and the community.
Employee Development
- Responsible for ensuring that his/her operations have the talent/resources to meet stated goals and objectives. Includes organizational planning and developing talent to meet both short- and long-term objectives as well as ensuring maximum productivity.
What You Will Need:
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership experience leading Hospitality Professional Services/Consulting organization or similar experience.
- Experience and a comfort level in hitting an annual revenue target of $25M.
- Experience at a management level where a proven track record of employee development and management can be demonstrated.
- Proven leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to motivate teams
- Proven business acumen including functional strategic development, corporate operations and finance and budgeting.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute on organizational strategies.
- Proven ability to influence at a Senior Executive level.
- Proven leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to develop people and to motivate teams. towards high levels of achievement.
- Previous P&L responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated Hospitality Consulting experience or similar experience with changing out hotel technology.
