We are looking for a competent Restaurant Server to take orders and potentially fulfill a leadership position has head server and supervisor of the restaurant front. The potential for a candidate to fulfill the lead server role will depend on their ability to supervise dine-in and to-go orders, assist fellow employees, and communicate with ownership. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus, taking orders and entering them into POS, and serving food and beverages. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers. Must be able to interact with customers, handle complaints in a positive manner, and work with team members to provide best possible service.

Work Hours:

• 40 hour availability preferred with possibility of overtime
• Restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday. Work hours roughly 10:30 am - 8:30 pm with one hour break from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Communicate closely with ownership regarding restaurant status and server inventory items

Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff

• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment

Skills

• Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
• Restaurant leadership, supervisory, or managerial leadership preferred
• Hands-on experience in cashier duties
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• High school diploma required

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
