Servpro Of Old Bridge & Cranbury is a disaster relief and mitigation company serving residents of the state of New Jersey, New York City, and Long Island with returning to normal after events such as Fire and Water Damages, Mold Damage, and other emergencies that may occur in someone’s home.
The position will be part time, at 4 – 6 hours daily, Monday through Friday. The position as Warehouse Assistant answers to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for working doing maintenance in the warehouse and supporting our crews and Managers in the field. Responsibilities will include the following:
  • Cleaning and performing maintenance on equipment in the warehouse.
  • Cleaning and keeping the warehouse organized.
  • Driving to jobsites to bring equipment and supplies to crews and managers across the state of New Jersey, New York, and Long Island.
  • Provide jobsite support to managers, which may include getting paperwork filled out, distributing supplies, and directing subcontractors per the managers instructions.
  • Assisting field crews in the event of someone being absent.

A vehicle will be provided for use when required to go out into the field
We offer on the job training regarding our equipment and field work. We require the following qualifications:
  • Ability to lift weights in excess of 50lbs.
  • Willingness to follow safety rules & instructions regarding what work needs to be done.
  • Ability to work with many people.
  • A legal and current driver’s license.
  • Being comfortable driving large vehicles including large vans and box trucks.
  • Experience with mechanics and electronics is not required but will be useful.
  • Proficiency in the Spanish Language is not required but will be useful.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
