Starcon International, Inc. is a privately held, full-service contractor offering comprehensive industrial and mechanical services in the refining, chemical, natural gas processing, and food and beverage industries. We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Warehouse Attendant for our North Kansas City location.

Qualifications:

• Forklift knowledge and operating experience required
• Computer skills: must have computer knowledge and be comfortable using various types of software- (SAP knowledge is a plus)
• Must have strong communication skills, be self-motivated
• Have means of reliable transportation to/from work and adhere to company attendance policies.
• Must be able to carry 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check and posses a valid driver’s license

Post Hire Requirements:

• Ability to understand and maintain compliance with all Starcon and clients’ safety and quality control procedures.
• Work alongside all team members to reach a common goal and from time to time may be required to perform other duties that they are qualified to perform, outside of his or her normal job function.
• Ability to periodically work extended hours and shifts when deemed necessary.

Physical:

Must comply with STARCON’s drug, alcohol, and background policy.

May be required to pass physical examination, pre-employment if necessary, and as required by

STARCON.

Must be able to climb ladders and stairways.

Must be able to carry 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials.

Must be able to work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces. (Towers, vessels, excavations, etc.)

Must be able to work extended hour on your feet on uneven surfaces. (Dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel, etc.)

Work Environment:

• The normal work environment will be in a warehouse where there will exposure to outdoor weather conditions and protective PPE will be provided.
• Extended work hours may be required
