Warehouse and Delivery Associate

$15-17 per hour, $500 sign-on bonus, 401k, health benefits, including dental and vision

Traction’s mission is to supply over 1,700 automotive businesses in the tri-state area with passenger vehicle and light truck tires. Many of our customers are independent, single-location shops who depend on Traction for accurate, on-time delivery.

Our warehouse and delivery teams operate in a physically demanding, faced paced environment where we strive for 100% accuracy. Every week brings a fresh challenge, and our associates need to be team players in order to get the job done. This often requires having the flexibility to unload, pick, and deliver tires to a local dealer all in the same day.

Responsibilities:

• Unloading/loading freight
• Verifying shipping/receiving reports, BOL’s, packing lists & invoices
• Upholding proper pick and storage practices
• E-Commerce shipping
• Conducting cycle counts
• Staging and consolidation
• Local route delivery
• General warehouse maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

Candidate requirements:

• Team player, with competitive drive to achieve personal and team goals
• High school, GED, or equivalent diploma
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and twist continuously throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs unaided and repetitiously
• Submit to a formal background check and random drug screening
• Valid driver’s license along with a clean driving record (for local route delivery)
• Available for overtime Saturday shifts on a rotating basis

Compensation:

Compensation ranges from $11-18 per hour based on experience and completion of training. $500 sign-on bonus paid in two installments at 30 and 60 days. After 90 days, employees become eligible for benefits.
