Warehouse Driver & Materials Handler

Reports to: Department Manager

Location: Liverpool

Full Time: Monday through Friday 3:00 p.m. through 11:30 p.m.

Non-Exempt: Starting at $33,280 depending on experience.

What is a Warehouse Driver & Materials Handler

We are looking for a proactive employee to provide customer service and support to our customers, internal and external alike. Warehouse Materials Handler receives deliveries and delivers them to respective departments. Maintaining inventories and keeping the warehouse neat and orderly is the main objective. Some responsibilities are:

• Responsible for pick-up and delivery of mail and supplies
• Daily inspection of vehicles
• Follow all State Laws applicable to Driving.
• Valid Driver's License for at least 1 year.
• Retrieves and loads vehicle customer equipment
• Distributes mail to various departments at IMS.
• Reviews paperwork for accuracy
• Gathering paper supplies for job completion
• Troubleshooting and problem solving
• Receives and logs deliveries and unloads trucks
• Puts away all incoming supplies
• Replenish departments with supplies
• Maintains the inventory of supplies
• Contacts suppliers and customers for replenishments
• Collects cardboard and paper bins
• Ships out customer returns
• Must have the ability to drive a 26' box truck
• Forklift Certification a Bonus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

A High school diploma or GED is preferred. Must have a New York State driver’s license. Must be able to follow directions carefully and have strong attention to detail while multitasking. Must have a strong sense of teamwork and accountability. Must be able to use a computer, be proficient in Excel, and have basic word processing and e-mail skills. We require applicants to understand basic math and use copiers, postage meters, pallet jacks, and hand tools. It is required that you can regularly stand, walk, crouch, bend, or kneel; use the repetitive motion of hands or wrists; finger, grasp, handle or feel; reach with arms and hands.

Conditions of Employment

Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Must have a New York State Drivers’ License.
