Your Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will report to a Lead or Supervisor. You will move product throughout the site and the load/unload of materials onto or from vehicles using a forklift, reach-truck, order picker, pallet jack or other heavy material handling equipment. You will provide important support by ensuring good warehouse practices and work instructions are followed to maintain high levels of inventory and location accuracy.Your Responsibilities
- You will use material handling Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to load and unload product and to move and store materials within the warehouse
- Pick, verify, and pack orders according to operational standard practices
- Ensure driving areas are free from spills or obstacles
- Verify and receive materials into inventory
- Use other designated equipment to load goods into trailers or other transport vehicles used for distribution
- Conduct pre-audits and post-audits of MHE
- Other tasks as assigned
Your Skills and Experiences
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of forklift operating experience
- Walk or stand for extended periods of time
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to work in Ambient, Cooler and Freezer areas
