Warehouse Forklift Operator

Riverside Logistics of Richmond, VA is looking to hire a Warehouse Forklift Operator to help us operate our forklifts, keep track of supply, fill orders, and keep our warehouse organized. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE FORKLIFT OPERATOR

As our Warehouse Forklift Operator II, you are the key to our services. You are essential to moving products from our facility to a client's facility. You receive orders from the warehouse management system, pick the orders, and load the items into trucks with a forklift. With attention to detail, you use machinery responsibly and follow all safety procedures and regulations. You interact with other works and clients with a friendly disposition, keep your workspace clean, and help wherever else you can. From unloading and receiving to picking and shipping customer products, you are kept busy every shift. You feel accomplished seeing how your efforts keep our business running smoothly!

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous forklift OR warehouse experience
• Ability to meet physical requirements such as lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, etc. in a hot warehouse
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction in English
• Must have experience with multiple lifts including Slip Sheet and Clamp Lifts
