Warehouse Order Selector

The Order Selector position offers a flexible schedule for both Full-Time and Part-Time. the Full time Position is a 4 day work week with 10 hour shifts that includes incentive pay on top of the base wage along with benefits. An Order Selector (Warehouse Team) position is primarily responsible for the effective and efficient building, staging, and loading of products. Additional duties include but are not limited to: General housekeeping, properly stocking and rotating product throughout multiple product locations, organization and staging of containers and pallets, as well as any other duties assigned by the Loading Supervisor. Order Selector (Warehouse Team) personnel must be proactive in looking for ways to help NBC sustain and improve effective and efficient business operations.

Requirements

1. High-School diploma

2. Experience in: Warehousing, Distribution, or Merchandising within a high-volume distribution environment is preferred but not required

3. Excellent oral and written communication skills

4. Strong organizational, time management and decision making skills with the ability to work within a highly distracting environment

5. Must have the ability to operate powered industrial equipment including a fork-truck in a safe manner and maintain annual fork-truck certification

6. Ability to continually lift 50 pounds from floor to waist height

7. Prolonged standing, twisting, and/or bending

8. The repetitive motion of one’s neck, wrist, fingers, and/or arms

9. Basic math skills

10. Must possess intermediate personal computer skills

11. Support various operational departments and personnel while working with management to achieve company goals

12. Willingness to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as needed

13. Must have the ability to work in an indoor environment with fluctuating temperatures
