Job Description
The warehouse supervisor is responsible for various tasks to support receiving, shipping and inventory management. Daily Supervision of warehouse team members, driving accuracy and accountability while ensuring a safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures. As needed, assist with loading/unloading trucks, wrapping finished goods and overseeing FIFO and inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Operate stand up forklift.
- Supervise and assist unloading and stocking of inbound shipments, transfers, and the picking, packing, and shipping of outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency with both product and paperwork.
- Aids in the routing and loading for routes, observing weight and time requirements.
- Assists in the training and development of warehouse employees.
- Ensure inventory counts and locations are accurate.
- Fill in for delivery drivers as required.
Qualifications
- Warehouse management or supervisory experience is required.
- Forklift operation experience required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to read, write speak the English language.
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Great communication skills and the ability and desire to lead a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
