Principal Accountabilities
Follow all Food Safety (HACCP), GMP’s, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental programs.
Carry out department and company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Repair equipment or work on projects as needed.
Fill out all necessary paperwork daily.
Monitor and operate all equipment including DAFS, ADTs, diaphragm pumps, centrifugal pumps, chemical pumps and chemical levels, tank levels etc.
Load and move tanker trucks on occasion.
Operate a forklift and use a knuckle lift as needed.
Perform housekeeping duties daily.
Supports and contributes to effective quality and sanitation efforts by adhering to established Cargill and USDA policies, rules, regulations and procedures.
Helps open boxes and cleans floors.
Stays alert to avoid bottlenecks and reports any issues to a manager, supervisor, group leader or lead.
May assist in line start-up and close-down including set-up and disassembly of equipment.
Moves, by pallet jack, the reusable cardboard to the cardboard compactor and places it in the compactor for reuse. Cardboard goes into outside container for pick-up by outside company
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to operate a variety of tools, machinery, vehicles, and equipment.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Waste Water Experience.
Communication skills both within and across departments
