Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
• Acknowledge and resolve all customer questions and complaints in a timely manner
• Provide tracking information to customers when requested. Assist customers with lost and damaged products due to carriers
• Approve/Deny return requests and provide formal RMAs.
• Create & provide customers with formal Quotes. Follow-up on Quotes to assure we win the business
• Re-scheduling or expediting orders at the customer’s request.
• Work with the Accounting Department on setting up new accounts requesting payment terms
• Create & maintain customer records in database (Sage50 Accounting)
• Communicate with customers regarding sales orders with expected delivery dates & any changes provided by the Purchasing Department
• Verify and communicate with the customer regarding invalid shipping addresses
• Provide stock checks, CoFC and RoHS documentation to customers upon request
• Work with Purchasing Department to obtain stock checks with Vendors
• Answer general customer inquiries via Zendesk Chat in a timely and efficient manner
• Complete any additional projects assigned by Management

Qualifications

• Extreme attention to detail- all data entry work is expected to be 100% accurate
• Basic knowledge of purchase orders and sales order processing
• Experience in the manufacturing industry a plus
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
• Prioritizes and executes time sensitive tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Positive, Can-Do attitude – willingness to accept constructive criticism & learn from mistakes
• High School diploma. College level education a plus
• Knowledge of the following systems are preferred, but not required:
• Sage 50 – Accounting
• Shopify – eCommerce platform
• Shipstation
• Zendesk Chat
• Hubspot
• Outlook /Gmail

Compensation & Benefits for Arcadian Employees

• 10 Prorated Paid Time Off Days (PTO)
