We are looking for individuals to work as a wedding photographers. Photographers will work to capture real time moments during the wedding day of couples. Weddings can range from 4-10 hours of coverage. Photographers will have opportunities to shoot as a second photographer and as an associate photographer. Candidates must live in or near Raleigh/Durham/Greensboro/Charlotte area. Other opportunities to work on non wedding projects may be available depending on candidates experience level and skillsets. Editing is not required for this position. The following cameras are preferred: Sony A7IV, A7III, A7RIII, A7RIV. Wedding experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Photograph live sessions and events
- Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specification
- Consult with lead wedding photographers to ensure shot lists completed
- Operate drone to capture aerial coverage
Skills
- Proven work with experience as a photographer
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop)
- Understanding of basic camera functions (e.g. aperture, shutter speed, ISO, etc.)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
- Able to work well under pressure
- MUST be a North Carolina or Virginia Resident
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
