The Position: We’re looking for a part-time weekend cafe associate who is available Saturday-Sunday. The pay range we’re offering is $16.00 to $16.50/hour. This is an entry-level position. Professional cooking experience is a plus but not required. This position is very customer-focused.

Requirements:

·The ideal candidate is diligent, energetic, self-motivated, and organized.

·You should have a team mentality, have excellent communication skills, and should be comfortable working with all types of people with different backgrounds.

·You will need to be a good listener, should follow directions well, and be able to manage your time effectively.

·It will also benefit you to have a natural curiosity, be a proven problem-solver, and have a love of learning.

·You will be working on weekends. Additional shifts during the week may be offered on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities: As a cafe associate at Cacao Chemistry, you will be responsible for working one-on-one with customers as they enter our store and ringing them up as needed. You will be needed to make hot and cold drinks and will be doing some minor cooking such as making fudge. You will be responsible for restocking displays and shelves, cleaning up (dishes, bathrooms, and floors), packaging ready-made items during downtime, and using a scale. You will be working directly with our owners and management team.

The Location: Cacao Chemistry is based in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a great place to live because of the endless sunshine, proximity to the outdoors, and thriving community.

Our storefront is located in the heart of downtown, one of Colorado’s designated Creative Arts Districts, and is surrounded by art galleries, makers, and independently-owned restaurants.
